Teodoro Aguilera recibió su grado en Física en 2009 y su doctorado en Electrónica en 2016 ambos por la Universidad de Extremadura (España). Ha sido Profesor Asociado de Automática durante tres años en el Departamento de Ingeniería Eléctrica, Electrónica y Automática de la Universidad de Extremadura. Actualmente él es un miembro investigador del Grupo de Investigación en Sistemas Sensoriales (GISS) en esta universidad donde su trabajo consiste en el diseño de Sistemas de Posicionamiento Acústico basados en dispositivos móviles.
