José Antonio Paredes received the Degree in physics and the M.S. degree in engineering and architecture research from the University of Extremadura, Badajoz, Spain, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Thus far, he has been part of several researching Spanish projects as laboratory technician, and worked as a teacher in high schools in the region.
Nowadays, he works as predoc fellow in GISS, focusing his research in digital signal processing for local positioning systems by means of different technologies, mainly of time-of-flight (ToF) cameras, specializing in detection and location of UAVs.
